Bond violation charges were dismissed last week for Levi Acre-Kendall, the Cambridge man who fatally stabbed fellow fisherman Peter Kelly, St. Croix Falls, last spring at Interstate State Park. The dismissal leaves Acre-Kendall free of any convictions related to the incident.
Two men have been charged with several felony counts of burglary after being caught on camera at a Grasston home. The home had been broken into and several items moved on July 7.
Escapees from a drug sting operation were arrested at gunpoint in the Cambridge Walmart parking lot on July 13, and one later escaped again from custody – and was still at large at press time.

A male arrested in a traffic stop on Jan. 22 earned more charges against him the next day when a search warrant found stolen items in his impounded vehicle.
A Grantsburg, Wis., male, 35, is in custody after fleeing police on Jan. 14. Isanti County officers and Police K-9 Kojak apprehended the male following a 30-minute foot pursuit in Braham.
