"American Pickers" are looking for good junk

The “American Pickers” are coming to Minnesota to film episodes in October.

Mike Wolfe, Frank Fritz and their team plan to film episodes of the hit series “American Pickers” throughout the area in October 2019, and are looking for large collections or accumulations of antiques to spend the better part of a day looking through.

The documentary series on the History Channel explores the world of “picking,” where the Mike and Frank hunt for sizable, unique collections and learn the interesting stories behind them.

As they hit the back roads from coast to coast, Mike and Frank are on a mission to recycle and rescue forgotten relics. Along the way, the Pickers want to meet characters with remarkable and exceptional items.

The pair hopes to give historically significant objects a new lease on life, while learning a thing or two about America’s past along the way.

Anyone who has a large, private collection of antique items or knows of someone who does should contact the show. The pickers only pick private collections – no stores, malls, flea markets, museums, auctions, businesses or anything open to the public.

Those with collections should send their name, phone number, location and description of the collection with photos to: americanpickers@cineflix.com or call 855-OLD-RUST.
