The North Chisago Historical Society will host two Christmas events in December. The Society operates the Rush City Historical Museum at 350 S. Eliot Avenue, Rush City, and meets regularly with special speakers and events.

Ethnic Potluck Supper - Dec. 3

  The North Chisago Historical Society will sponsor an Ethnic Potluck Supper on Tuesday, Dec. 3, at 6 p.m. at the Rushseba Town Hall, just north of Rush City on Old Highway 61.

Members and the public are invited to bring a family favorite or a dish that represents family history.  

 Christmas Past Holiday Tea - Dec. 8

  The annual Christmas Tea will be held on Sunday, Dec. 8, at 1 p.m. at the Rush City Community Center, 720 West 14th Street. 

This year’s theme is “Christmas Past.” Society members will provide beautifully set tables and a menu of tarragon turkey salad sandwiches with cranberry chutney, buttercup squash with honey, apples and raisins, raspberry cream jello salad, Christmas cookies and special teas and other beverages.
