Pilot Outreach Ministries is celebrating 40 years of jail and prison ministry in Minnesota and Wisconsin with a special event on Saturday, Oct. 26, at 1 p.m. at Word of Life Ministries, 6888 Highway 95 NW, Princeton (2 1/2 miles west of Highway 47).

Special guests will include MN Adult & Teen Challenge CEO Rich Scherber and musician Cody James.

The program will also feature “What God Has Done” testimonials from people whose lives have been affected through Pilot Outreach programs.

In 1979 Pilot Outreach began in Chisago County Jail, and today over 100 volunteers minister in 15 county jails and two prisons.

“Thousands of lives have been changed through the tireless efforts of Pilot Outreach volunteers,” said Doris Mork, director.
