Talk Like a Pirate Day at Rush City Library

Talk Like A Pirate Day comes but once a year, so celebrate all things pirate on Thursday, Sept. 19, from 3:30-5 p.m. at East Central Regional Library-Rush City, 240 W. 4th Street in downtown Rush City.

Follow a treasure map to search for hidden doubloons, make a “pirate-y” craft, use the library’s props (or bring your own) to create a pirate selfie, and enjoy coloring and puzzle challenges.

The library also has an abundance of books and movies about pirates for kids to check out.

All ages are welcome to this event, and no registration is necessary.

The library can be reached at 320-358-3948.
