A pair of regular area food distributions are scheduled to take place next week.

Cambridge Surplus Food Distribution

CSFD will be distributing food at the Isanti County Fairgrounds on Tuesday, June 16, from 2 to 5 p.m., or until food runs out. Participants are asked to not arrive before 1 p.m. and to not park on Highway 95 and wait. Registration will take place from peoples’ vehicles and groceries will be placed into trunks or hatchbacks. Organizers also ask for no more than two families or individuals per vehicle.

For those who live outside of Isanti County and have not received food in the last two months, they need to call 612-402-6100 to check for eligibility. Anyone who hasn’t registered in 2020 needs to present a photo ID and one current utility bill at the time of registration.

Ruby’s Pop-Up Pantry

Ruby’s Pop-Up Pantry will be held on Saturday, June 20, at the Isanti campus of New Hope Community Church, which is located at 114 Dahlin Ave. It will be held from 9 - 11 a.m.

This will also be a strictly drive-up distribution. Beginning at 7:30 a.m., participants will be given a time ticket for when they are to return and volunteers will place the food in each person’s vehicle. The cost of this distribution is $20, and there is no income or residency requirements.

Any questions can be directed to site coordinator Joyce at 612-760-4179, or go to their Facebook page at Ruby’s Pantry IsantiMN.
