David R. Pearson

David R. Pearson, age 92, of Cambridge, formerly of Isanti, died Dec. 6, 2019, at GracePointe Crossing The Gables.

David Roger Pearson was born on Feb. 6, 1927, to Axel and Signe (Krom) Pearson in Isanti, Minn. He entered the U.S. Army in 1946 and was honorably discharged in 1947. Dave furthered his education in Kansas where he learned the trade of plumbing and became a member of the Plumber’s Local Union 15 where he was a member for over 50 years. He and Marlys Seymour were united in marriage in 1952 and had two children and made their home in Wayzata for 38 years. In May of 1994, Dave was married to Dorothy Mattson. They lived in Isanti for several years before moving to Cambridge in the fall of 2016.

Dave was an avid wood-working craftsman and enjoyed making various wooden projects for friends and family. He also enjoyed wintering in Arizona, fishing, and completing puzzles with Dorothy. Due to declining health, Dave moved to GracePointe Crossing in June of 2019 where he died on Dec. 6, 2019.

He is preceded in death by his first wife Marlys Pearson; his parents Axel and Signe Pearson; his older sisters Eva Strike, Elsa Donaldson and Ethel Kluck.
