To the editor,
The abduction of Jayme Closs and subsequent double homicide of her parents prompts me to offer a commonsense solution: rather than imprisonment at taxpayers’ expense of about $2,000,000 at the current rate of $38,000 per year, I propose we take this predator directly from the courtroom to the operating room where his transferable organs would be immediately harvested and distributed where they could do the most good.
This action would not only be a deterrent, but it would give life back where it was senselessly and selfishly taken away.
Just don’t transplant the brain!
