Cambridge-Isanti Athlete of the Week, Oct. 10

From the coach: In the last three meets, Jaxon has finished runner-up twice (Hinckley and Mora) as well as finishing in sixth place at the prestigious Swain Invitational up in Duluth.  He has clearly established himself as a top tier competitor.

Favorite thing about sports:  The competition, also being on a team, and that team being like a second family.

Person who has influenced you: My family and Henry Abraham.

How do you prepare for a game or meet?: Get in the zone and do Yama.

Highlight of athletic career:  So far, going to state for hockey, also making all conference honorable mention in cross country last season.

Future goals: To go to state in cross-country and track and do sports in college.
