Don’t sink while keeping in sync

This new Community Education synchronized swim club, under the direction of Coach Kate Goebel, presented its first team event at the Cambridge-Isanti High School pool last week. The sport combines the grace of a dancer, the flexibility of a gymnast and diver with the water skills of a swimmer. The members performed in the pool with music and precision skills after only one week of practice. Interested future participants can contact Coach Goebel at kgoebel@c-schools.org or call the Community Ed office at 763-689-6224.
