Morgan Van Lingen of North Branch was inducted into the Emmanuel College circle of national leadership honor society Omicron Delta Kappa in April 2015.
Jennifer Martin, a elementary education major from Cambridge, earned dean’s list recognition at George Fox University after earning a grade point average of 3.5 or higher during the 2015 spring semester. Martin is academically considered a senior based on the number of credits earned. All told, more than 800 students earned dean’s list honors for the semester.
The following local students were among 980 who graduated from Minnesota State Community and Technical College during commencement ceremonies in May.
Darren DeBaere of Cambridge, graduated from the Wadena campus with a Electrical Lineworker Diploma.
Maximilian Molina of Chisago City graduated from the Moorhead campus with a Human Resources-AAS.
Tiffany Taube of Shafer graduated from the Wadena campus with Nursing-AS (Advanced Standing), AH.
The following students from the area graduated in May from University of Wisconsin-Stout in Menomonie, Wis. Students include: Katie Nickles of Braham with a bachelor of science in business administration; Timothy Holter of Isanti with a bachelor of science in property management; Ashley Dahlquist of North Branch with a bachelor of science in hotel restaurant and tourism.
Kimberly Gibson, a Senior Elementary Education major of Isanti, was among approximately 480 Bob Jones University students named to the Spring 2015 President’s List. This President’s List recognizes students who earn a 3.75 or higher GPA.
Recognition for outstanding academic achievement has been given to Emily Trunk of North Branch, a student at Grand View University, for the 2015 spring semester. Students are named to the President’s List for earning a grade point average of 4.0 while carrying at least 12 hours of class.
