The following students from the area received the Chancellor’s Award for the spring 2015 semester.

David Ethen, of Braham, earned a bachelor of science in business administration.

Alyssa Rupp, of Cambridge, with a bachelor of fine arts in graphic design and interactive media.

Courtney Arvidson, of Harris, with a bachelor of science in criminal justice and rehab.

Jessica Rochel, of Isanti, with a bachelor of science in engineering technology.

Shelby Swanson, of Isanti, with a bachelor of science in early childhood education.

Weston Kilpela, of Lindstrom, with a bachelor of science in business administration.

Kari Berggren, of North Branch, with a bachelor of science in restaurant and tourism.

Ashley Dahlquist, of North Branch, with a bachelor of science in restaurant and tourism.

Jonathan Buck, of Rush City, with a bachelor of science in packaging.

Local students were named to the dean’s list at Bemidji State University. Students include: Hannah Chapman, of Chisago; Megan Lushanko, of Chisago City; Joshua Hatton, of Harris; Matthew Splittstoser, of Harris; Joseph Washenberger, of Harris; Trevor Carlson, of Isanti; Natalie Gossen, of Isanti; Mandy Polnaszek, of Isanti; Summer Robertson, of Isanti; Jerrica Schelhorn, of Isanti; Morgan Smith, of Isanti; Bayley Ertl, of North Branch; Morgan Morgenstern, of North Branch; Emily Rollins, of North Branch; Kayla Forcier, of Rush City; Chelsey Mell, of Rush City.

Tyrel Filley has received a $1,000 Upper Class Scholarship from Minnesota State University Moorhead. Filley is the child of Chad Filley and Candace Warden.

 The Upper Class Scholarship is available to students pursuing their first undergraduate degree who have completed at least 12 MSUM semester credits by the end of the fall semester with a GPA of 3.25 or higher.
