There’s no business like snow business

No, the city of Cambridge wasn’t trying to stack the deck for the month-long snowman/snow sculpture contest they are running in January. According to Public Works Director Todd Schwab, the city had to create huge piles of snow along downtown Ashland and shovel it into their trucks due to their blower being damaged from coming across someone’s car exhaust in the snow. Schwab said the city typically hauls away snow from downtown four to six times a year, but it usually takes place at night. Because of the damage to the blower, the process took longer.
